This is a visual journal of the people, places, and things I’ve encountered throughout my photographic journey.
I’m always chasing that moment when everything lines up for a split second and sets the scene.
The people I photograph tell their own stories — their story is in the photograph. My story is the photograph.

Grid of 2,700 square photos from archive, showcasing street photography, portraits, and candid scenes.

I’m digging through decades of work — from the black-and-white prints I made
in the unfinished basement of 425 Adams Street in Freeland,
to the darkroom I set up in the spare bedroom of my rent-stabilized apartment
on 14th Street in Manhattan, to the shift into digital photography.

Five children looking out from behind a split wooden door in a worn building, with graffiti and peeling paint surrounding them.

Life is full of experiences.
I’ve tried to document mine, and now I want to share them with you.
Get lost in a photograph for a moment — forget about time for a while.
Join me as I work through the past and try to figure out what the point of all this really is.

Photography is an fragment of eternity.
A photographer must recognize it, compose it and capture it,
And within a fraction of a second, decide to press the shutter before it vanishes forever.

This is just the beginning.
